KOKUYO Furniture Flagship Showroom in Shanghai won the best of Commercial Space Design Award of The Golden Bund Award.

Shanghai, April 2, 2013 - KOKUYO Furniture Flagship Showroom in Shanghai won the best of Commercial Space Design Award of The Golden Bund Award. The Golden Bund Award is a most important design award in Chinese interior design industry, which sponsored by China Institute of Interior Design (CIID).

The award ceremony was held at Jumeirah Himalayas Hotel Shanghai on April 2nd, 2013. There were 14 types of Golden Bund Awards, such as “the best innovation award”, "the best concept design award”, "the best residence design award", "the best hotel design award" and "the best commercial space design award". Over 300 famous designers and journalists attended to this ceremony.

The design concept, lighting design and the measure for ecology were evaluated highly, and the KOKUYO Shanghai flagship Showroom won the best of commercial space design award.

Wataru Sato who designed the showroom is a senior interior designer of KOKUYO Furniture Co.,Ltd.(Japan), and he already has a high reputation in Japan. Also another designer Naoki Sawada from KOKUYO Furniture Commerce and Trading (Shanghai) is contributed to this project. They said, "This award is such a huge honor. China is definitely a good field for designers. This showroom was a great project of both Chinese and Japanese staff. Thank you everyone!"
