Information on SOFT TITLE BRAIN Version 1.40

■ For those who use Soft Title Brain, the application software for Title Brain

If the CD-ROM version included with the product is earlier than 1.40, please download and use Ver. 1.40, which is also compatible with Windows 10, from the "How to Update" section below.

*We have confirmed that it works with Windows 11, so you can use it.

If you receive a message saying "Unsafe download" when downloading the updater, or if the Download button does not respond, please try the following steps.

(Bug fix) When connecting Titlebrain to a computer and starting to print, the message "Not connected" appears.

Update target

<Application software operating environment>
●Compatible models: PC/AT compatible machines (DOS/V machines)
●Supported OS: Japanese Windows Vista (32bit) or later, Japanese Windows 7/8/8.1/10 (32bit/64bit)/11 (64bit)
(PC with one of the above pre-installed)
Required equipment: CD-ROM drive, USB port CPU processing power: Pentium 800MHz or higher (1GHz or higher recommended)
●Memory capacity: 512MB or more (1GB or more recommended) (2GB or more for 64bit) ●Hard disk space occupied: Approximately 10MB
●Display: Resolution 800 x 600 (SVGA) or higher ●Interface: USB 1.1 or higher

[Note]
- If you are installing on a PC with a previous version (Version 1.00/1.10/1.20/1.21/1.30/1.31) installed, please uninstall it before installing Version 1.40.
*If you install Version 1.40 without uninstalling Version 1.00/1.10/1.20/1.21/1.30/1.31
There may be some malfunctions.
- We shall not be liable for any damages or claims for lost profits arising from the use of this file.

Update contents

How to update

Uninstall the old version

Uninstall SOFT TITLE BRAIN Version 1.00/1.10/1.20/1.21/1.30/1.31.

*Not necessary if the above version is not installed
*Please disconnect Title Brain from your computer when uninstalling.

Download the installation file

Download the SOFT TITLE BRAIN Version 1.40 installation file to your desktop or other location.

Unzip the installation file and install

Once the download is complete, unzip the saved installation file "TitleBrain.zip" and
Double-click "setup.exe" in the "TitleBrain" folder to install.

*If you install without unzipping the file, an error may occur.

Verifying the version

Once the installation is complete, start SOFT TITLE BRAIN.
Please make sure the version is 1.40.

Separate decompression software is required.

SOFT TITLE BRAIN Version 1.41 Bug Fix Edition

■ For those who use Soft Title Brain, the application software for Title Brain

(Bug fix) When using Ver.1.40, the "Load Data File" function does not display XLS format files (only CSV is supported).
If you experience the above symptoms, please apply the bug-fixed version (Ver. 1.41) using the "How to update" link below.
*If there are no problems with file loading, do not apply Ver.1.41 and wait until updating to Ver.1.40.

・If you are using Ver.1.40 and cannot select the XLS format in "Load Data File"
・For those using Windows 8.1/10/11

About the problem solved
・(Ver.1.41) →Fixed the issue where XLS format files could not be read
