New Campus Brand Launched Stationery Lineup to Help Discover "Ways of Studying"

12 types and 56 items of stationery based on Study Recipes, a blend of stationery and methods

KOKUYO Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka/President: Hidekuni Kuroda) announces that Campus, which marks its 50th anniversary this year with cumulative notebook sales of over 3.7 billion units as of the end of 2024, has been renewed from September 2025 into a "ways of studying brand" that supports students' learning, rather than solely a notebook brand. In conjunction with this brand refresh, 12 types and 56 items of stationery were launched on Friday, September 5, based on Study Recipes, which offer ideas for ways of studying that combine stationery and methods. Both the products and the Study Recipes were announced at the same time.

As Campus Notebooks celebrate their 50th anniversary, the Campus brand has been renewed from being merely a notebook brand into a brand for "ways of studying." In line with this renewal, 12 types and 56 items of products were released under the brand.

The new lineup is connected to Study Recipes, ideas for ways of studying that combine stationery and methods, enabling students to easily try out and discover the learning style that suits them. Specifically, for the Quick note study recipe, which supports writing notes in textbooks and reviewing them immediately, tools include a Book Clip that can be carried like a pen and keeps textbooks securely open, and Roll Sticky Notes Dispenser that allows students to add memos and summaries in the margins of textbooks and reference books. For the Bite-sized study recipe, which enables repeated review during spare moments with compact-sized tools, items include compact-size loose-leaf sheets that support to-do management, color-coded organization, and memorization, as well as Mini Binders to carry them conveniently. Furthermore, for the Binder study recipe, which prevents the loss of handouts by compiling them all in one binder, items include lightweight and slim Punches that allow quick organization and easy portability of handouts. Altogether, the lineup is directly linked to the Study Recipes.

Through these proposals that combine stationery and methods, KOKUYO will help each student discover their own way of learning.

■ Introduction of Study Recipes and Products from the New Campus Brand (Excerpt)

1. Quick notes for quick review「Quick note study」

02-2_memo.jpg

In recent years, classes with blackboard writing have decreased, and learning styles that involve writing directly on handouts and textbooks have increased. However, a common issue is the lack of space to write, and taking notes on separate paper leads to them getting lost.

This study method helps you manage key points more efficiently by capturing information on sticky notes right in your textbook instead of in a separate summary notebook.

・ Campus Portable Book Clip

A book clip that can be carried like a pen by rotating it. The left and right clips grip separately, making it less likely to come off even if the thickness of the open pages differs. Furthermore, the top clip is shorter compared to the bottom clip and semi-transparent, making it less likely to hide text at the top of the page.

・ Campus Roll Sticky Notes Dispenser

Roll-type sticky notes that allow you to add memos and summaries in the margins of textbooks, reference books, and notebooks. They can be cut to any length for use and feature full adhesion to prevent peeling. Also, being in a case makes them portable, preventing the sticky notes from getting dirty even when carried in a pencil case.

2. For in-between moments: Bite-sized study

Amid busy student lives, 96% of students responded that they "want to study during spare moments."

For this study method, just jot down the parts you really want to remember on mini loose-leaf sheets, then review the key points repeatedly during spare moments.

・ Campus Loose Leaf A7 Size

Compact-sized loose leaf that can be quickly taken out and used for studying during spare moments. The lineup includes three types: a "To-do" type for managing tasks with marks, a "3 Colors" type that is easy to organize using three colors, and a "Memorization" type convenient for memorization study, along with sticky notes for loose leaf that can be attached to an A7 binder.

3. Bundle in a binder「Binder study」

With more classes relying on printed handouts, conventional, bulky hole punches often force students to punch papers at home. Interviews revealed that many find it to be a hassle and put off this task, which leads to misplaced handouts. In this study method, keep handouts, loose-leaf sheets, and a slim hole punch neatly stored in a binder to organize papers that are easily misplaced.

・ Campus Card 2-hole Punch

A punch that can be bound directly to a 2-hole binder for carrying. It is thin and lightweight, making it easy to carry, and allows for easy handout organization even when out, such as at school or the library.

4. Fun study plan「Motivating study」

02-9_mochi.jpg

While about 80% of junior and senior high school students feel a lack of motivation to study, many boost their motivation by visualizing plans and progress. Even with the spread of study management apps, paper-based study plans remain persistently popular due to smartphone detox for concentration and their simplicity. Furthermore, needs have recently shifted from

"social media appeal" to "focusing on efficiency and a sense of accomplishment." Whether you like to take your time or move quickly, this study method lets you easily create a plan that suits your style and helps boost motivation by showing how much progress you've made.
