FIRST KOKUYO STATIONERY POP-UP SHOP IN HANOI, VIETNAM OPENED

Over 1,100 groups of customers made purchases within seven days

KOKUYO Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka / President: Hidekuni Kuroda) announces that it has opened a shop for customers to be among the first to purchase new products, including products planned and developed in Vietnam that are popular with students, at Aeon Xuan Thuy, a shopping mall in Hanoi, Vietnam. Over the seven days, more than 1,100, groups of customers made purchases.

For this first Pop-up Shop in Hanoi, the Campus Gel Pen, which is mainly for students, the Japan Paper Series, which uses Japanese-made Campus notebook paper with lines tailored to Vietnamese specifications, the Illustrator Series, and more were expanded to a diverse lineup of approximately 400 products.

The smooth writing feel and colors of the newly released Campus Gel Pen and the comfortable writing feel and wide variety of designs of the Japan Paper series were well received, with sales reaching the target, making the first Pop-up Shop in Hanoi, Vietnam, a success.

In the experience area, where customers can try out a variety of writing instruments on Campus notebook paper, a wide range of customers, including students, parents and children, and office workers were seen enjoying the experience. The Campus Gel Pen and Earth Color series products were popular. Of the seven colors (10SKU) available for the Campus Gel Pen, the blue ink was especially popular among students, while the black ink was popular among office workers.
The Earth Color series, a stationery series that uses the colors of the earth--tree green, earth brown, and water blue--as its key colors, is purchased as a set with the notebook and Gel Pen series, allowing customers to enjoy a matching set with a sense of unity. This value-added stationery that combines design and functionality appeared to be well received.
