Implementing the "First Anniversary Campaign" to express our gratitude for the first anniversary

KOKUYO Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka / President: Hidekuni Kuroda) announces that its Malaysian subsidiary, KOKUYO International (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd, will celebrate the first anniversary since the opening of Southeast Asia's first "Campus STYLE the Starling" directly managed store for KOKUYO stationery.
To commemorate the event, the "First Anniversary Campaign" will be implemented from May 23 to June 30.

KOKUYO's global stationery business aims to capture the market by enhancing our points of contact with customers and expanding our business domains not only in Japan, but also globally.

In May 2024, the store was opened in "the Starling," a shopping mall situated in Petaling Jaya in the outskirts of Malaysia's capital, Kuala Lumpur, and has served more than 15,000 customers in the past year. Many customers, especially women, visit the store to experience the appeal of KOKUYO stationery, which is also well received in Japan and China. Popular products include cute designs such as the Illustrator Notebook, the Campus Notebook Endangered Animals Design featuring the Malaysian tapir, an endangered species in Malaysia, the functional pen case TYAKASHA HACO HACO, and Campus Stamp Marker Pens.

In addition, interviews with customers who have purchased KOKUYO stationery have revealed that they rate it highly for its design, functionality, and ease of use, and many purchase the stationery as gifts.

As a token of our appreciation for the first anniversary of our opening, we have prepared a gift campaign and other special products.
The campaign will start on May 23 at the "Campus STYLE the Starling Store."

As a directly managed store, we will continue to make use of feedback gained through communication with customers in our craftsmanship and will disseminate the appeal of KOKUYO stationery in Malaysia by enhancing our product lineup and exciting experiences.
