KOKUYO's commitment
Your notebook (we call it a “techo” in Japanese) stays in your life for year or more. It’s where you jot down ideas, make notes, look back at the past. All this activity takes place on a stage called “paper.”
If you love your notebook, you’ll really care about the paper inside it.
JIBUN_TECHO notebooks are made with original KOKUYO papers that are firm and smooth to write on. And because they’re designed to be carried around, they’re very lightweight. Notebook paper also needs to meet various requirements.
As times change, all kinds of new stationery products emerge, along with new ways of using them. Meanwhile, the needs of users continue to change too.
Having listened carefully to the needs expressed by our users, we created the JIBUN_TECHO notebook range using the original KOKUYO papers we call “THIN” and “MIO.”
THIN PAPER/MIO PAPER

THIN PAPERの特長
Stays flat even when you rub out erasable ballpoint ink
Low show-through
Comparable with Tomoe River paper in terms of lightness
Change of plan? Now you can make a correction without spoiling the page. This is a KOKUYO original paper developed specially for the JIBUN_TECHO notebook range. In contrast to conventional paper (such as the Tomoe River brand), our THIN paper resists warping even when you rub out erasable ballpoint ink. And, again in contrast to conventional paper (such as the Tomoe River brand), it has low show-through, so the writing on the other side of the sheet is unlikely to be a problem.

MIO PAPERの特長
Lets your handwriting flow easily
Quick-drying
Smooth feel
With a smoothness that lets your writing flow easily, this paper is perfect for anyone who does a lot of handwriting. A KOKUYO original paper, MIO is so smooth and supple, it’s a joy to write on. If you cram a lot of writing into your notebooks, this is the right paper for you. It has a short dry-time and high smudge-resistance.
